Today, I am happy to announce that my World Race mission trip was fully funded this week! Thank you very much for your support and prayers throughout the fundraising process. I just wanted to update you on a couple of things going forward:

1. It will take a couple of weeks for the remaining money to show up on my fundraising total. Once it does, I am planning to take down the donation link on my blog.

2. I am planning to send out more thank-you notes in a few weeks to those who contributed since November 2019. Please be on the lookout for these, and I really hope to stay in touch with my support team. Please feel free to reach out to me as well!

3. If you are still interested in donating, please let me know! There may be a future giving opportunity for you to partner with. Will see what doors the Lord opens!

From the bottom of my heart- I sincerely wanted to thank all of you who helped pray over, support, and advocate for my trip. I truly could not have done this trip without you, and I am grateful. Furthermore, I am thankful for the Lord and how He opened the door for this trip to take place. It has been quite a journey since that evening at Joe’s Coffee (in Lenoir-Rhyne University) evaluating going on the World Race. Since 2019, it has been an adventure of being humbled by God, trusting Him during the uncertain times of the pandemic, and connecting with the Christian community throughout western North Carolina and beyond. While it has had its ups and downs, I continue to be amazed by how God comes through and how He challenges as well.

What will trip preparation look like going forward? There are a number of exciting things to tell you about as fundraising winds down and mission preparation continues:

1. The New York City trip that I am taking with my house church in May is coming together! By the way, that trip is also fully funded as well. We are meeting once a month and doing outreach in North Carolina together while preparing to do diaspora outreach and discipleship in NYC!

2. I am planning to go backpacking more and am excited to engage in some hiking trips as the weather warms up! Going to be looking at that packing list and packing my pack real soon!

3. One of my goals for the summer is to engage with some Gospel outreach training and learn more Gospel sharing / discipleship tools. How do you share the Gospel to others? If you like to share / engage people in a particular way, please feel free to comment below!

4. Another goal is to push forward with a note-taking/ summary project for the Christian books that I have read. These notes can be handy reference material to look at while on the field!

5. And yes, I plan to continue to be involved in the Boone, NC Christian community both prior to and after I get back from my trip! It has been amazing to serve in the NC High Country, and it has a special place in my heart. Looking forward to doing further ministry with you all, and may my stories and testimonies from the field encourage you as you push ahead here!

It has been terrific to walk alongside you in this journey- and as I continue to walk in the Lord. Excited to share Jesus name in the nations in a few months, and please continue to pray over this trip, for God to guide us, & for the lives that will be transformed while doing missions!
